Over the years, the concept of what is possible has evolved greatly.  People used to believe the Earth was flat, that bumblebees and man could never fly, that there was no possible use for electricity.  My, how our awareness of everything has expanded, as old assumptions have fallen to the realities of science.

When You Breathe Through Your Nose, the Saying Goes

When you Breathe through your nose, the saying goes, 

Everything’s better, from your head to your toes.

And air that’s warmed, and filtered and churned

Is better for tonsils, and lungs, we have learned.


But when you breathe through your mouth, things can quickly go south,

The throat gets inflamed, or infected, or both.

And you just want to curse, because everything’s worse,

And we do mean EVERYTHING, Chapter and Verse.

When You Can’t Breathe As Well As You Should

When air can’t get to your lungs

It affects virtually every part of your life

And your virtues are largely unsung.


Because without enough air, nothing works well

And life is a constant ordeal

You might try to downplay all of the effects, 

But I assure you, they’re all really real.

Please note before we go further that these are all TEMPORARY treatments to TEMPORARILY relieve the pain. Because they address only the symptoms and nothing about the cause of the pain, the very best they can do is to make you feel a little better in the short run.
