Because we provide state-of-the-art care for TMJ/TMD disorders, people assume that that is all we do. We are always amazed when patients ask if we do General Dentistry, because, of course, it is primarily what we do.

We take great pride in our restorative expertise, having placed more than ten thousand CEREC “same day” porcelain restorations in our dental office over the past nearly two decades. Bonded porcelains are the ideal restorative material because they enable us to restore teeth with materials that look, feel, and wear like natural enamel. And with appropriate care, they should last for years and years and years.

How can we say that? Well, because our earliest all porcelain make-overs are still radiant, over two decades later. And as the materials further improve, the esthetics and longevity should only increase.

Sure, we do orthodontics for our patients, when that is the best option for them. In fact, we remain the only General Dental office in all of Oregon to have ever achieved “Elite” Status as an Invisalign Provider, and have done more lifetime cases than any other GP in the state. And, when it better suits the needs of the patient, we also provide conventional orthodontics.

What makes our porcelains last so long, without nightguards or retainers? The same thing that enables our composite fillings on the outside of teeth near the gums to last for years and years. The same thing that enables us to treat migraines and TMJ cases, ice water sensitivities, and a great variety of debilitating inconveniences, with great confidence of long term resolution.
